IKEA's purchasing model is a global purchasing model. IKEA has established 46 sales representative offices in 16 purchasing business areas around the world, spread across 32 countries. The sales representative office staff evaluates suppliers according to IKEA's best procurement concepts, coordinates between the headquarters and suppliers, implements product procurement plans, monitors product quality, and pays attention to suppliers' environmental protection, social security systems and safe working conditions. . Today IKEA has approximately 1,300 suppliers in 53 countries around the world.
